· DAIVONEX is a non steroidal treatment for psoriasis. DAIVONEX® contains calcipotriol (related to vitamin D).
· DAIVONEX will not stain clothing when applied properly and is cosmetically acceptable for daytime use.
· DAIVONEX is used only on skin affected by psoriasis. Psoriasis is a skin disorder in which skin cells are overactive causing scaly plaques of silvery, white flaky skin. The calcipotriol in DAIVONEX is clinically proven to relieve and control psoriasis skin symptoms (scales, redness & thickness) by regulating skin cell proliferation.
· DAIVONEX is used in the most common types of psoriasis where ‘plaques’ form in the skin. Plaques are raised, rough, reddened areas covered with fine, dry silvery scales. Plaques are usually a centimeter or two across.
· DAIVONEX is available as an ointment, cream and scalp lotion, for your convenience and depending on the severity and location of the condition. DAIVONEX is available only with a doctor’s prescription.
