· LOCOID is a moderately potent corticosteroid cream used in the treatment of mild, moderate or severe cases of eczema (a skin condition with itching, redness and a burning feeling. In some forms there may also be oozing sores that become hard and scaly).
· LOCOID can also be used in the following conditions
o Psoriasis (a skin disorder with raised, rough, reddened areas covered with dry, fine silvery scales)
o Other types of dermatitis (itching skin diseases)

LOCOID - Hydrocortisone 17-butyrate 0.1%
LOCOID C-Cream - Hydrocortisone 17-butyrate 0.1%; Chlorquinaldol 3%
Do not use LOCOID if you are allergic to hydrocortisone medicines or any other medicines, if you have bacterial, fungal or viral skin infections.
Tell your doctor: if you have any other skin conditions; if you are pregnant or breastfeeding; or if you are taking any other medicines including any that you buy without a prescription from your pharmacy, supermarket or health food shop.
Like all medicines LOCOID can cause some side effects such as burning, itching or irritation of the skin at the site. Skin discoloration, redness or rash. Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you notice anything that is making you feel unwell.
Always use LOCOID strictly as instructed by your doctor.
